About Carley Varley
Carley Varley (that's her real name too!) is a Pop/Rock Artist/Band hailing from the South Coast UK! Consisting of members vocalist/guitarist Carley Varley, guitarist Alex Tompkins, bassist Jordan Shepherd and drummer Fred Sedegely, the band formed in 2023 to perform Carley’s original Mixing her love of pop music with edgier rock elements, Carley's ability to convey so much emotion and honesty into her songwriting really shows her talent in her genre.
Inspired in her teens by bands like Linkin Park, Paramore and Evanescence, Carley's vocals have been likened to that of Hayley Williams and her stage presence to that of Taylor Swift. Carley released her first EP in 2019, entitled Captured Memories, with the hit single 'Won't Say Sorry' being a fan favorite.
After busking on the streets of her hometown, Carley has gone on to pursue music full-time, performing in venues such as The Railway Inn, The Joiners, The Bedford, The Halfmoon Putney and headline at some beloved Dorset festivals including Poole Harbour, CarfFest, Dorchester Cider Festival and Dubs South Festival. Carley is set to perform at Icebreaker festival next year and after the release of her Homesick EP in 2023. She's also actively working to release a new EP in 2025, with its first single being "ATTENTION!!!."
